Chapter 138 The Feeling of Being In Love
“It doesn’t matter. We can go to the library later. I think this gentleman is really in a hurry. Why don’t we help him first?”
Angela blinked her large grape-like eyes at Asina and then ran towards Aren.
She knew that Asina looked down on her, but if she made a man who refused Asina to fall in love with her, she would not be able to laugh at her anymore.
When she was only a step away from Aren, Angela pretended to sprain her foot and lean forward. She wanted to fall into Aren’s arms to close the distance between them, but she did not expect him to dodge.
Angela fell to the ground, her legs and arms bruised.
This sudden turn of events made Asina, who was still a little unhappy, laugh.
Angela had successfully made herself a walking embarrassment. Seeing that Angela made a fool of herself, Asina found Aren much more pleasing to the eye.
Aren was no fool. He had built a business empire at a young age. How could he not tell what was on Angela’s mind?
Aren frowned and looked away from Angela who was on the ground. He casually looked in a direction and planned to look for Jocelyn himself.
Angela, who was lying on the ground, watched as Aren left. When she heard Asina’s laughter behind her, tears welled up in her eyes. She had never been humiliated like this before.
A strong sense of shame overwhelmed Angela, making her body tremble.
Seeing that Angela was still lying on the ground and unwilling to get up, Asina stopped laughing After all, they were classmates from the same major, and they had been roommates for quite some time, so it was inevitable that they had some kind of friendship. Just when Asina was walking towards Angela to help her up, a long and slender hand reached Angela.
“Miss, I wonder if I have the honor of helping you up.”
The sound of his voice was like that of a cello, and the slender and clean palm that was handed to her made Angela forget to cry for a moment.
With such a gentle and clean voice, he shouldn’t be too ugly, right? With this in mind, Angela looked up.
Just as she had guessed, the man in front of her had dyed his hair icy-blue. This loud color didn’t look incompatible with him at all. Instead, it made him look like a daffodil in the national park.
He was really too handsome.
Angela was stunned by Bevis’ face, especially when he was holding a large bouquet of sunflowers. The color of the sunflowers, coupled with his smile, was enough to dazzle people.
“Miss, aren’t you going to get up?” Bevis winked at Angela playfully.
Hearing Bevis’s voice again, Angela finally realized what an embarrassing situation she was in. She wanted to get up quickly, but she didn’t want to miss the opportunity to hold Bevis’s hand.
After a moment of hesitation, Angela placed her hand on Bevis’s palm. She felt like she had sullied a pure angel with her dusty hand.
She blushed and was helped up by Bevis. “I’m sorry, I think I made your hand dirty,,” Angela whispered, taking a careful look at Bevis’ face, hoping she wouldn’t see disgust towards her on his face.
Fortunately, Bevis only glanced at his palm and then smiled gently. He did not look angry about it at all.
“I don’t think you stained my hand. Look, it’s very clean.” Bevis showde Angela his palm. There was indeed no dust on it, which relieved Angela, but also made her heart beat faster.
She felt that she had fallen in love with this man at first sight.
“I think your leg is injured. Maybe you need to go to the infirmary to deal with the wound on your leg. It won’t be good if a beautiful girl has scars on her body.”
Bevis pointed at Angela’s injured leg with a look of pity on his face, making Angela feel like she was treasured by him. Although this was the first time they met, Angela already felt like she was in love.
