Chapter 149 Secret Exposed
The atmosphere between the two of them instantly became tense.
Aren did not want to stay any longer. He was afraid that he would not be able to help but do something to hurt Jocelyn.
“Anyway, the talk about canceling the engagement is over.” After saying this, Aren turned around and left, leaving Jocelyn standing alone under the tree in silence. Jocelyn thought that Aren would agree to cancel the engagement because he was furious with her just now.
After all, her status was far lower than Aren’s. From his point of view, she was totally an unqualified fiancée. Other than giving him trouble, she could not provide him with any help.
Moreover, with Mr. Aren’s conditions, he could totally find a better partner to replace her. But now, the development of the matter was far beyond her expectations. Aren actually didn’t want to terminate the contract with her.
Seeing this, Jocelyn couldn’t help but sigh deeply. It had only been less than a month since she signed the marriage contract, but she was already so tired.
Moreover, she actually signed the contract with Aren for three years.
Three years! Oh my god!
Jocelyn could not imagine how she would spend the next three years. There seemed to be nothing she could do except hang in there.
She only hoped that in the next three years, Aren would be able to think it through and take the initiative to cancel the engagement with her, although this might not seem very likely.
However, just as Jocelyn was about to leave the woods, an annoying voice came from behind. “Hey, Jocelyn, I didn’t expect to see you here.”
Jocelyn turned to look. Standing behind her was a man with curly red hair and wheat-colored skin. There was a flame tattoo on his neck.
Jocelyn recalled that this man was one of the men who shouted in the classroom to sleep with her. She vaguely remembered that the professor called this man Miles.
However, Jocelyn did not like this man. He made her feel extremely uncomfortable.
Jocelyn didn’t want to say another word to Miles, and this wasn’t a good place to talk anyway. If Miles had any ideas about her that he shouldn’t have and was using force to pressure her, Jocelyn wasn’t sure she could knock the man over.
Jocelyn did not like the feeling of putting herself in danger, so she did not reply to Miles. Instead, she turned around and planned to leave, but Miles was not willing to let his prey escape from his mouth.
This was a chance bestowed upon him by God when He heard his heart. Otherwise, why did he bump into Jocelyn and Aren here, and even let him hear their conversation?
Wasn’t this what God wanted him to do?
Miles licked his lips. His amber eyes were fixed on Jocelyn with lust, making him look like a hyena. “I heard everything you and Aren were talking about just now. I really didn’t expect that the Cinderella that everyone is envious of is actually fake. That enviable marriage is actually just a contract. What do you think the reaction will be if everyone knows about it?”
As Miles spoke, he leaned closer to Jocelyn. He wanted to smell the fragrance on her body. He wanted to kiss Jocelyn on the lips. He wanted to press her under him and make her look satisfied after being conquered. At the thought that Jocelyn would moan to him, that her beautiful body would completely open up to him, and that she would look satisfied and crazy because of his penetrations, Miles couldn’t help but be excited. His body even trembled because of the imagination in his mind.
Jocelyn didn’t expect Miles to overhear the conversation. Panic flashed across her face.
If people found out that her marriage contract was fake, they would definitely humiliate her even more unrestrainedly. Her father might lock her up and prevent her from going to school.
Jocelyn knew how much the title of Aren’s fiancée would benefit the Wilson family.
At the thought of the consequences of this matter being made public, Jocelyn panicked.
She was so shocked that her mind went all blank.
