Chapter 356: The Twins Brought the White Wolf to Look For Their Mother
The white wolf was afraid of John, but it had to listen to its master’s orders.
In the end, it took a few steps back. It glared at the clone with its dark eyes and let out a dangerous growl.
The clone told the twins, “I really like your daddy. I value him more than my life, more than anything else!”
“That’s why I love his family.”
“I can’t bear to hurt anything related to him!”
“Even when the white wolf attacked me just now, I could have killed it, but I didn’t do it because it was your white wolf.”
“You’re John’s children. I don’t want to make you unhappy.”
Everything she said was sincere.
“That’s why I can’t bear to hurt the white wolf you raised. How could I possibly hurt your mommy?”
Tommy and Anne did not believe the clone.
They just felt that Kathleen’s accident had something to do with the clone.
However, at this moment, John told them, “What happened to your mommy should really have nothing to do with her. She won’t hurt your mommy!”
The clone had been taking care of him for the past few days. Moreover, there is no way the clone could have hurt Kathleen alone.
Therefore, John believed that it was not a clone!
Tommy could not believe it. “Daddy, you actually protected this clone! Do you still remember how terrifying and murderous she was in the past?”
“Do you still remember the people she killed?”
Anne was also in disbelief and heartbreak. “Daddy, you’ve really disappointed me and my brother!”
She finally understood why mommy was not willing to forgive daddy. It was because daddy had gone too far. What he had done was too unforgivable!
Anne used to like daddy very much.
However, not anymore.
She looked at John and said rudely, “Daddy, you’re so weak! You’re so stupid that you can’t be saved!”
“You lost your wife or your child. Forget it! You can’t bear to kill those bad guys. Do you want to keep them forever?”
“You didn’t indulge them and didn’t solve these problems directly. Why would you let them harm your wife and children again and again?”
Anne’s eyes were no longer filled with love and respect for her father. She said sadly, “From today onwards, you are no longer the hero in our hearts!”
Tommy was even more ruthless. “We don’t have such a stupid daddy! If Mommy doesn’t forgive you in the future, we don’t have to acknowledge you as our daddy anymore!” John was so angry that he almost fainted.
However, everything the twins said was true, and he could not refute them.
Tommy and Anne left with the white wolf.
John followed them back to Kathleen’s bedroom and tried to talk to the twins. However, the two children had sour faces and ignored him.
They went straight to Kathleen’s closet.
Tommy stroked the white wolfs head and said gently, “Snowfang, take a good sniff and bring us to Mommy, okay?”
The white wolf sniffed the clothes carefully.
Then, it cried out.
Then, it squatted down and waited for Tommy and Anne to ride on it. Only then did it slowly stand up and run steadily out of the palace.
John looked at all of this.
He was annoyed. Why did he not think of using the white wolf to find Kathy?
This white wolf was well-versed in human nature, and his sense of smell was exceptionally sharp. It had previously found Kathleen, who had been taken away by Diana’s father. It would definitely be able to find her again!
John immediately followed the twins and left.
The clone also immediately followed. She felt that Kathleen was definitely dead and that there was not even a corpse left behind! However, what if?
What if Kathleen was found.
On the way to the Taylor family, Kathleen was intercepted by Diana and the clone. The heavily injured Kathleen had no choice but to jump off the cliff.
Of course, she did not do it to seek death.
She did it to save her own life!
She jumped down without any hesitation.
The moment she jumped down, Kathleen held a sharp dagger tightly in her hand. It was the poisonous dagger that Diana had stabbed into her back.
That was an excellent dagger!
When Kathleen’s body was very close to the cliff, she fiercely stabbed the dagger into the cliff. She used the friction between the dagger and the cliff to stop her from falling down quickly.
Along the way, sparks flew, causing Kathleen’s hands to go numb.
However, she held the dagger tightly and persevered until she saw a tree that grew out of the cliff.
Only then did Kathleen leap up and land on the tree that grew out of the cliff.
She was hanging on the tree, panting.
The injuries on her body, coupled with the poison, made her feel extremely dizzy.
Kathleen fainted.
On this lush and verdant tree that had grown out of the cliff, in the air above the ground, she had been unconscious for two days before she slowly opened her eyes and woke up.
At this moment, the poison on Kathleen’s body had already self-detoxified. The wounds on her body had also automatically healed, and no more injuries could be seen.
However, she was still very weak.
After having lost too much blood, her face was deathly pale.
Coupled with the fact that she had been unconscious for two days, it could be said that she did not have the slightest bit of strength left in her.
It was impossible for Kathleen to stay on this tree any longer. She moved carefully, crawling along the tree’s branches, and came to a rock on the cliff.
There just happened to be a cave here.
Kathleen entered the cave and rested for a moment.
She wanted to leave and find something to eat. Otherwise, she would definitely starve to death or die of thirst!
However, there was nothing to eat by the side of the cliff. It was not easy for her to come across a tree full of wild fruits. When Kathleen tried to gather those wild fruits, she accidentally stepped on the branch and broke it.
Kathleen fell down, along with the brunch.
Fortunately, she was not too far from the ground. Kathleen did not die from the fall, but she had unfortunately broken her leg and was unable to walk.
It was when John found the clone at the bottom of the cliff. The clone was injured, and John was unconscious. They were brought back to the palace for treatment.
Kathleen had just missed John, who was looking for her.
Kathleen had broken her leg, and she did not know how to treat it..
