Chapter 366: I Won’t Leave, I’ll Be Wherever You Are
If she was a maid’s child and not the real Susan, would Erwin still marry her? What should she do? She could not accept her identity!
Holly said, “Don’t worry, I will definitely let you marry Erwin!”
Susan asked, “You have an idea?”
Holly nodded.
She told Susan, “That tramp only suspects that you’re my daughter. There’s no evidence yet, and she hasn’t found her biological daughter yet.”
“Benjamin isn’t willing to publicize this matter and wants to investigate secretly. Besides, for the sake of the Milan family, Benjamin doesn’t want to miss out on the marriage alliance with the Smith family…”
Holly analyzed everything.
Then, she told Susan, “Just pretend that you’ve never heard of everything that happened today and don’t know your true identity.”
“Continue to be a good girl! Just be good enough to be that tramp and master’s daughter!”
“As for me, I’ll find a way to prevent that tramp from finding out anything. From now on, I’ll stop the investigation for the sake of your happiness and also for the sake of making that tramp suffer.”
Holly was very extreme.
She wanted everything to stop the investigation.
On this day, when she was leaving the hospital, she drove the car over a bridge, making it look like an accident!
The car that she and her current husband were driving crashed into the sea. The only person that was rescued was Holly’s husband.
No one knew whether Holly was alive or dead.
Perhaps she was hiding, or perhaps she was dead.
After smashing the car window, she could not escape from the sea and died in the sea. After all, everyone knew that Holly could not swim.
She would only be dead.
Her body was lost at sea.
Benjamin and Gabrielle could not interrogate Holly anymore because of this. They could not confirm whether Susan was really the child of Holly.
They also did not know where their real daughter had gone?
Susan pretended that she did not know anything. She continued to be the daughter of Benjamin and Gabrielle. She was still obedient and filial, even more than before.
She was only sad for a while regarding Holly’s death.
However, when there was no one around, she cried quietly and mumbled, “Thank you for everything you’ve done for me.”
“Mom…”
It was because of Holly’s death that Susan’s identity was not exposed.
She was still Susan and continued her engagement with Erwin.
More than a month later, Erwin married the paralyzed Susan.
On the night of Erwin’s wedding, Erwin looked at Susan, who was dressed in a white veil, and said coldly, “Since you’ve married into the Smith family, you’ll be the third young mistress of the Smith family.”
“You’ll enjoy all the riches and honor that you deserve.”
“However, you have no right to ask more than you deserve. No matter how much you wish for them, you’ll never be able to have them in your lifetime!”
Erwin was about to leave when he finished speaking.
Susan questioned loudly, “So, you’re not planning to touch me?”
“You abandoned me on our wedding night. Although you married me, you refused to give me your heart. You didn’t even give me your body.” Erwin nodded. “It’s good that you’re aware of that.”
Susan cried.
She was in so much pain and sorrow.
She questioned Erwin, “Why? How can you be so cruel to me? Is it because of that damned mistress who abandoned you? Is it because of that tramp?”
Erwin’s aura immediately turned cold.
He turned around abruptly and looked at Susan with his sharp black eyes. “Don’t talk about her like that again!”
Erwin left.
Susan could not even stand up and chase after him.
Sitting in her wheelchair, she could only watch Erwin leave.
Since she was paralyzed and it was her wedding night, no one was naturally around to take care of her. She could only sit there for the entire night.
She was wearing a pure white wedding dress.
It was supposed to be the happiest night she had dreamt of for a long time!
She was abandoned by her groom and sat in his wheelchair for the entire night.
At dawn, Susan slid her wheelchair to the window.
The break of dawn did not light up her eyes. Instead, they were even darker than before. She clenched her fists and said, “Erwin, you owe me!”
“As well as the damn women, you owe me everything!”
“It’s all because of you that I’ve become like this. I merely moved from the Millan family to the
Smith family. Although I had married Erwin, I’m just a bitter wife!”
“One day, I’ll get everything back!”
On the night of Erwin’s wedding, Erwin left immediately and returned to Hillford. From then on, he never returned to Murica again.
Susan seemed to have accepted the current situation.
She did not make a fuss and did not complain.
She continued to be the young madam of the Smith family and worked hard to cooperate with the doctor’s treatment. She wanted to get better one day and be able to walk normally again.
At this moment, when all of this happened, on Sydnay’s side, Kathleen did not die at all.
Although she almost died because she did not have the jade, Kathleen was strong, and her will to survive was unyielding.
She endured danger time and time again.
Finally, she was out of danger after a week.
That afternoon, Kathleen finally opened her eyes and woke up.
John was so happy, he cried.
His beard was unkempt, and he looked haggard like a vagabond. He tightly held Kathleen’s hand with heavy dark circles under his eyes.
He cried and told Kathleen, “I would have died if you did not wake up! I’m worried about you, and I can’t stand you lying here like this…”
Kathleen merely replied indifferently, “Yes, I understand.”
Kathleen pulled her hand out of John’s palm. Kathleen looked at this man in front of her with some heartache. However, it was mostly nothing.
She thought about the entanglement she had with this man.
It was always because of those rotten peach blossoms by his side. His former fiancée, Sherri, his cousin, the clone, and Diana had brought her too much trouble.
This man was always unable to deal with all of it.
He was indecisive about letting go of these women who had hurt her time and time again.
Kathleen’s little face became even colder as she thought about it.
“John, I’m already fine. You can leave.” She wanted to chase the man away.
How could John be willing to leave?
He stretched out his hand once again to hold Kathleen’s little hand tightly. “I’m not leaving!”
“Kathy, you and the children are here. Where do you want me to go? Do you want me to live a miserable life alone?” He looked pitiful.
John, who looked like a beggar, had put down all his dignity and begged pitifully..
