Chapter 381: Nancy Didn’t Want to Return to the Millan Family

Susan was about to go crazy from anger.

Her eyes were about to pop out of her head. She bared her fangs and brandished her claws. “You damn tramp, how dare you hit me? I’ll tear you apart today!”

She rushed forward.

She looked like she was going to teach Nancy a lesson with a fight.

Then, there was the sound of another crisp slap. This time, it was Gabrielle who hit Susan.

Susan could not believe it. She looked at Gabrielle, who had hit her, and asked, “Mommy, why did you hit me too? What did I do wrong?”

Gabrielle replied, “I’m telling you, she’s my daughter!”

Gabrielle’s aura was cold.

She told Susan, “If you can get along with my daughter peacefully, your father and I will still acknowledge you as our daughter because we’ve raised you since you were a child.”

“Otherwise…”

Gabrielle couldn’t bear it.

However, she still said, “Just leave!”

Susan’s eyes widened. “You’re kicking me out?”

She pointed at Nancy and said, “How can she be your biological daughter? How can you believe what she said? She must be lying to you!”

“Yes, that must be the case!”

Susan felt that Nancy must have been shameless enough to come over and claim her as Gabrielle’s daughter.

She glared at Nancy hatefully and said, “She likes Erwin and will do anything to get together with him! She must know something, and that’s why she came to claim her as Nancy.”

“She must have done something. She…”

Gabrielle reprimanded Susan. “What do you know?!”

Gabrielle told Susan, “I did the paternity test myself. There’s no mistake. Nancy is our daughter!”

Susan was speechless

She had already done the paternity test. What else could she say?

She could not accept this reality and was utterly dumbfounded.

Nancy watched as Gabrielle and Nancy carefully, lovingly spoke to each other.

Then, Benjamin returned.

When he saw Nancy, Benjamin immediately said, “This is our daughter! Even without a paternity test, just her face alone is enough to confirm it!”

Gabrielle replied, “That’s right! Our daughter is exactly the same as when I was young!”

Benjamin and Gabrielle pulled Nancy into the living room warmly and lovingly, letting her sit down. They sat beside Nancy, one on the left and another on the right.

Benjamin and Gabrielle were full of concern for Nancy as their eyes reddened.

Benjamin looked at Nancy and said in a deep voice, “Since we’ve found you, you can move back here and be the young lady of the Millan family.”

“Daddy will hold a press conference to announce your identity.”

Susan listened to everything.

Before Nancy could say anything, she became anxious. “Daddy, if you announce her identity and make her the young lady of the Millan family, what will happen to me?”

“Daddy, I’m your daughter too!”

“You and mommy have raised me since I was young. In my heart, I’m your daughter! I’ll only be close to you, and I’ll be your daughter for the rest of my life!”

Benjamin frowned.

Ever since he found out that Susan was not his biological daughter, he had not been close to her. He had only continued to recognize her because of his pride and his rich family background.

He had found his biological daughter.

Benjamin had already found out what had happened.

His dark eyes were cold as he told Susan, “According to my investigation, you’re very likely to be the daughter of Holly! It was also Holly who exchanged you for my daughter.”

“You have been living in the Millan family for more than 20 years in place of my daughter, enjoying a life of wealth and prosperity, but my daughter is suffering outside!”

“Logically, I should have kicked you out immediately!”

Susan cried uncontrollably as she looked at Benjamin pitifully.

She sobbed and said emotionally, “But, you raised me! I still remember how happy you were when I called you daddy for the first time.”

“The first time I went to school, you sent me to school…”

Susan said this one after another.

Benjamin was indeed reluctant to do anything to Susan because of her words.

So he finally said, “Forget it. We raised you up, and we have feelings for each other now. If you’re obedient, you’ll still be our daughter in the future.”

“How about this? You can be Nancy’s sister.”

Susan and Nancy almost said in unison, “No!”

They looked at each other with hostility. Then, Nancy spoke first, “Mr. and Mrs. Millan, I have my own family now.”

“I have a mother who loves me, and I have a brother. I’m getting married soon.”

“If you’re willing, I’ll invite you to my wedding.”

“But if you want me to go back to the Millan family and become the young lady of the Millan family, forget about it. I’m not interested.” Hearing Nancy’s words, Nancy sighed.

Susan rolled her eyes.

She immediately came up with an idea. It was as if she was flipping through a book. She put away all the hostility in her body and smiled gently, trying to please Nancy.

“I’m sorry. It was all my fault in the past!” she suddenly apologized.

With a gentle smile, she continued, “I didn’t know that you were father and mother’s daughter. I also didn’t know that I had taken over your identity since birth.”

“I’m really sorry…”

As she said this, Susan actually knelt down in front of Nancy.

Susan looked at Nancy with a pleading look. “I’m sorry for what I’ve done in the past. If you can’t calm down, it doesn’t matter if you slap me a few more times.”

“Besides, don’t you like Erwin?!”

“I can divorce Erwin! I’ll help you and Erwin! After all, I’m the one who took over your identity. If not for that, you’d be the one who should marry Erwin.”

Susan said, “It’s all my fault. It’s all my fault. I’m willing to return the young lady of the Millan family and Erwin to you.’

“I only hope you can come back to mom and Dad.”

“Please accept me and let me stay by Mom and Dad’s side. Although I’m not their biological daughter, I’m still the daughter they raised from a young age.”

Susan’s words touched Benjamin and Gabrielle beyond words.

However, Nancy felt that it was not as simple as Susan had said.

Her instincts told her that Susan was just putting on an act!

She had been unwilling to have anything to do with Susan and could not accept the fact that she had suddenly become the young lady of the Millan family. She had no intention of returning to the Millan family.

She just smiled coldly.

She thought to herself, ‘Since Susan was so kind and reasonable, how could she not fulfill her wish ?’.
