The God of Light had stored his memory and divine powers in the glass bead. But somehow, the glass bead had arrived in the mortal world three days prior and some of the divine power leaked from the glass bead and attached itself onto the Eurasian collared dove.

Even though the power that leaked from the glass bead was merely one billionth of the vast divine power that the God of Light had, it was still sufficient enough to give the dove a spiritual conscience.

The dove developed magical powers after it absorbed the powers that leaked from the glass bead. As a result, it developed a consciousness that was strangely similar to that of a human.

The dove was very grateful to Natasi for saving its life. It also pitied Natasi due to all the pain and suffering she had experienced, so the dove appointed itself as her “fairy godmother”.

It had used its divine power to conjure the most beautiful dress in the world and made the most luxurious golden carriage for her. It had even used its divine power to nourish her tanned face, which led everyone to become fascinated with her appearance at the ball.

Even the prince fell in love with her.

In contrast, the original Bellia was like the king of destruction; she was something who destroyed everything she touched. The path in front of her right now was full of holes, and if she didn’t work hard to fill those holes, then those holes will swallow her and eat her alive.

“Meow, meow, meow——”

The black cat didn’t know how much trouble he had just caused as he blinked his eyes at her innocently.

Liu Yu was calculating how successful she would be if she tried to snatch that dove from Natasi. Her high heels clicked and clacked against the spiral staircase as she ascended.

Liu Yu noticed that the fur on the black cat was standing on its end as it raised its paws and let out threatening hisses into the air.

A dove had appeared out of nowhere and swooped down towards her rapidly. The dove caused a huge burst of wind across the chandelier in the living room. The wind knocked against the chandelier, causing the chandelier to make the same sound of chiming bells.

“Boom——”

The mural hanging on the side of the stairs fell off from the impact.

“Jiu Jiu! Come back!”

Natasi poked her head from the third floor in panic.

Liu Yu quickly reached out her hand and grabbed onto the railing of the stairs to avoid being knocked down by the burst of wind.

The black cat silently jumped out of her arms and snarled at the dove.

“Bellia!” In this commotion, a high-pitched voice pierced through everyone’s eardrums as it called out to Bellia, “My dear Bellia, are you alright?”

“Maggie and Tina, go and catch that damned bird!”

A figure dressed in fiery red rushed towards Liu Yu and hugged her tightly.

She was not properly dressed. The red silky nightgown she was wearing was not properly tied together, so some fair skin was exposed. Even so, she rushed over to Liu Yu on her barefoot and hugged her.

Liu Yu’s face was buried in the woman’s bosom. She was also able to smell a whiff of the rose fragrance the woman was wearing.

The woman was very warm.

Liu Yu was a little confused as she said, “Mother…?”

“My dear Bellia,” she said as she gently touched the young girl’s head. But in an instant, the gentle expression on her face turned fierce as she screamed at the person standing on top of the stairs, “Natasi! Natasi, you damned girl!”

Natasi descended the stairs in panic; her small face was pale with fright.

“Jiu Jiu did not do that intentionally! Please forgive him!”

Natasi appeared terrified; her legs were trembling uncontrollably.

Liu Yu patted the woman who was still hugging her tightly.

“Let go of me.”

Lady Fergus was beautiful and alluring. Although there were some fine lines in the corner of her eyes, she was still very attractive. She gently let go of Bellia and ran up to Natasi. When she arrived in front of Natasi, she slapped her with force.

“Damn it! I already told you to properly look after your bird!”

“This wild beast actually dared to hurt my precious Bellia! This time, I will pluck out all of its features and make it into a stew!”
