In the break room, Rong Yan didn’t even realize the person she was waiting for had already finished his meeting.

If he had known, she wouldn’t have had to wait in vain in the break room for three hours!

Realizing his implication, Rong Yan said with an epiphany, “Do you mean I didn’t tell you I came to wait for you with Little Baby?”

Her eyes hid stars as dazzling as could be; just looking into her eyes could make one inexplicably relax. “Weren’t you busy? I didn’t want to disturb you, so I asked Assistant Gu not to tell you.”

When facing Gu Ming, he was clearly dominating and intimidating, scaring Gu Ming to the point where his legs went weak. But the same answer, coming from Rong Yan, made him frown slightly darker. Yet all he did was purse his lips and grip her wrist a bit harder, saying, “Next time, you don’t need to do that, just tell me directly!”

“Anyway, I didn’t wait too long. Today’s work finished early, and there were no plans for the evening, so a little wait is fine. You often wait for me too, right?” Rong Yan blinked her eyes and spoke in a relaxed tone, “Since you’re done, let’s go, we’re going to eat something. Little Baby has been waiting all evening, looking forward to eating hotpot with you.”

Both large and small eyes met mid-air and understood each other without needing to speak, then both looked away.

The little guy definitely didn’t want to wait just to eat hotpot with him. He wanted to eat with her; that was the truth!

Li Shengxiao withdrew his gaze and released her hand, stepped past her, picked up the silent and lovely little boy, then turned back and grabbed Rong Yan’s hand.
