Chapter 103 Give Me a Kiss
When Ji Naitang woke up, the corners of his eyes were wet. He started to rub his eyes and discovered that he was covered with a suit jacket. It was Cen Muqi’s.
Cen Muqi was sitting behind his desk and working. Ji Naitang looked quietly at him. Then he heard his WeChat tone sound on his phone. He took it out and saw that it was from Cen Muqi. It was a kissing emoji.
He smiled helplessly and looked up at Cen Muqi. Cen Muqi was looking at him too. Ji Naitang noticed that he rarely wanted to eat sweets recently. Was it because he didn’t feel very bitter now?
“Be careful of catching a cold if you sleep on the sofa.”
“It’s not that cold yet.” Ji Naitang sat up and stretched. Then he brought the suit jacket over for Cen Muqi to put on. He looked at the work that he was busy with.
“Is there something I can help you with?”
“Yes.”
“What is it?”
Cen Muqi nudged his left cheek with his tongue. “Here. Give me a kiss.”
Ji Naitang: “……”
“You’re not happy with the work your boss assigned?” Cen Muqi looked very serious. Ji Naitang couldn’t help but laugh out loud. Then he bent down and kissed his left cheek. “My CEO, do you need me to kiss your right cheek too?”
“Not the right cheek, but I need one on my lips.” Cen Muqi placed his hand on Ji Naitang’s neck and brought him over to kiss him on the lips. Then he simply pulled him directly into his arms.
Ji Naitang sat somewhat unsteadily on his lap. He couldn’t help but think that this was an office. He suddenly had the feeling that they were having an illicit affair.
“CEO Cen, this isn’t very good, right? This is an office.”
“This is my office. I can do whatever I want. Who dares to object?!”
“You fatuous monarch.”
Cen Muqi rested his chin on Ji Naitang’s shoulder and sighed. “Ai, beloved Consort Ji, if Cen Corporation’s performance decrease this year, it’s your beauty that brought a calamity to the country.”
“You’re the fatuous one, but you dare to blame it on me?” Ji Naitang smiled and retorted. Then he suddenly saw a folder on Cen Muqi’s computer. The name of the folder was “Zone Planning for the North’s Development.”
This was the document that Yao Yuanjing had told him to find. Ji Naitang had searched in the apartment’s study before, but Cen Muqi’s computer had a password, so he didn’t succeed.
He didn’t expect that Cen Muqi’s office computer had this document too.
“There’s no other choice. I want to be an Emperor who doesn’t hold morning court either. I’m tired every day. And there’s no end to making money. Sometimes I think it’s quite meaningless.”
Ji Naitang looked away from the folder and said, “Then take a vacation and have a good rest. CEO Cen, why don’t we go on a vacation when we have time?”
“Use my name. Calling me ‘CEO Cen’ doesn’t sound intimate at all.”
“But we’re in the company right now. I’m your Special Assistant. There are no assistants who call their CEOs by their names. I won’t call you ‘CEO Cen’ after work.”
Cen Muqi chuckled. Someone then knocked on the office door. Ji Naitang wanted to get up, but Cen Muqi didn’t let him go.
“CEO Cen, someone’s knocking on the door.”
“You see? When do I have time to rest?”
“Then when you have time, we’ll go on vacation. Okay? Let go now.” Ji Naitang moved Cen Muqi’s hands away and stood up. He tidied his clothes before Cen Muqi told the person to come in.
It was Assistant Liu who opened the door and came in. He held a stack of documents in his hands. He had already guessed that Ji Naitang would be here, so he wasn’t surprised at all. It was as if he didn’t see him at all.
Ji Naitang walked back over to the sofa. He couldn’t help but sigh. Someone who worked by the extremely strict CEO Cen’s side as an assistant was indeed not an ordinary person.
Assistant Liu talked to Cen Muqi about work. Ji Naitang was bored and pulled out his phone. He was going to browse the internet, but he saw an unread message sent by Yao Yuanjing.
He clicked opened the message. The first thing he saw was a picture.
