Chapter 21 – I was assaulted!

‘Obedient Little Luo?’
Luo Lin became speechless when he heard the name.
‘Why did Aunt Qin save me as “Obedient Little Luo”… It’s such a feminine name. Labeling the masculine me with this name, it’s too unconscientious of her.’
When he was reminded of Qin Wanshu, Luo Lin broke out into goosebumps and quickly pried off Miss Song who wrapped around him like an octopus.
He didn’t care about being a gentleman and simply held both her arms down with one hand, and applied acupuncture with the other.
After applying acupuncture to the important meridians, he managed to calm her boiling blood. Luo Lin then rolled the needles to soothe the blood flow.
After a while, Miss Song gradually calmed down. Although she seemed to feel unbearable and writhed back-and-forth, the flames in her body had already been suppressed.
Luo Lin quickly went to the bathroom and fetched a basin of cold water. He soaked a towel in it and placed the damp towel on Miss Song’s forehead.
Perhaps Miss Song was too exhausted from the rigorous activity, the cold towel lowered the heat in her body, and she calmed down gradually.
The moon shone brightly outside his window. Luo Lin heaved a sigh of relief as he watched Miss Song drifting into a deep sleep.
The moonlight spilled onto the room and illuminated Miss Song’s face. Her complexion shone with a tinge of red which hadn’t faded. At this moment, Luo Lin realized Miss Song was actually a beautiful lady that was a different style from Qin Wanshu.
Her brows revealed an unyielding spirit which made Luo Lin recall Jiang Yan, the ruthless police flower he met in the afternoon.
However, the difference was that Jiang Yan had a shrewish personality. Luo Lin could tell that Miss Song was a straightforward woman from how she saved Qin Wanshu from drinking.
Miss Song was more likable in comparison.
Luo Lin let out a self-deprecating laugh as he pondered.
During Luo Lin’s former life, he never released any prey near his mouth.
The lady before him had been drugged and even mouthing “Little Obedient Boy” repeatedly whilst rubbing her body against his earlier. Despite that, Luo Lin actually spent half of the night to dispel the drug effects from her body.
‘It sure is tough being a gentleman.’
Both the master and guest bedroom were occupied, so Luo Lin hugged his blanket and slept in the living room.
Just like that, a night passed.
When he was deep in slumber, Luo Lin felt a soft and slippery sensation on his face which instantly woke him up but he kept his eyes closed.
‘Alright, who assaulted me.’
When the footsteps had gone further away, Luo Lin opened his eyes and saw Miss Song sneakily walking toward the door. She then carefully opened it and left thinking no one knew her deeds.
Luo Lin rolled his eyes. He sat up and shook his head with a helpless smile: ‘This is a sin, someone fell for me in a moment of carelessness.’
While he was thinking, he noticed a piece of note on the table. Luo Lin opened it and there were beautifully-written words on it: “Big sister’s name is Song Meiyuan. Little handsome brother, I have saved your number. If you don’t pick up my call, I’ll tell Qin Wanshu that you took advantage of me yesterday.”
‘Avoid, I must avoid her by all means.’
‘Very well… if I knew this would happen, I should’ve taken advantage of you last night. To think that I would be bitten by this woman, she was probably awake the entire time.’
Who would’ve thought Miss Song was such an open-minded lady.
However, Luo Lin didn’t have the time nor sentiments to provoke the woman who he met only once. Serious matters are his priority.
Luo Lin looked at the master bedroom and realized Qin Wanshu had long since been gone, leaving behind a neatly folded blanket.
Qin Wanshu probably left not long ago and after that, Miss Song kissed him, leaving a piece of hand-written note before leaving.
Miss Song would certainly tell Qin Wanshu about yesterday’s matters. Of course, she would exclude the part where she was drugged. After all that trouble at the bar yesterday, the two women felt a little embarrassed, especially the thin-skinned Qin Wanshu.
Luo Lin rinsed and washed his face. He changed his clothes and pulled out his phone to dial a series of numbers. Before he spoke, a spirited voice came from the other side.
“Hello, is this Big Brother Luo?”
Luo Lin smiled.
‘Haha, this kid is quite conscientious.’
“Jiadong, do you have time this afternoon?
Bring a few trustworthy brothers, and come have lunch, it’ll be my treat.”
Lin Jiadong was waiting for these words and agreed immediately.
After hanging up the phone, Luo Lin called Liu Wanchuan: “Little Chuan, this afternoon at Lijiabang Restaurant, bring Liang Zi along… It’s alright, isn’t it just a wounded arm, drinking won’t kill him. At the gathering today, you guys must drink, and you mustn’t be shameful!”
…
At 12 noon, Lejiabang Restaurant, in a VIP room, there was a round table with 16 dishes set. Around the table, sat 6 people with 6 bottles of Wuliangye Liquor.
Luo Lin sat in the middle seat, to his left was Liu Wanchuan and Wang Liang who had a plaster cast on his arm. On the right side, sat Lin Jiadong, and two of his energetic followers.
“Everyone grab a bottle of Wuliangye Liquor and fill your cups to the brim. Whoever has an empty glass will have to empty an entire bottle.” Luo Lin said jokingly.
Once everyone had filled their cups, he raised his glass and stood up, “Everyone who’s sharing a table with me today, I consider you all my brothers. I’ll down the first cup, thanks for giving me face.”
“Alright!”
Everyone applauded.
Luo Lin waved his hand: “We’re all brothers here, don’t be so polite and introduce yourselves!”
Everyone understood Luo Lin’s actions. He was trying to familiarize everyone so that in the future, they can look out for one another on campus grounds. To put it plainly, everyone would be brothers from today onward.
Wang Liang had the most candid personality here so after Luo Lin spoke, he immediately stood up to introduce himself: “I’m Wang Liang, everyone can call me Liang Zi. I’ll spare you the nonsense and empty this cup!” After finishing his sentence, Wang Liang drank the liquor entirely.
After Wang Liang had taken the lead, Liu Wanchuan was next, followed by Lin Jiadong and the rest.
Those two fellows had been friends with Lin Jiadong since Junior High and had deep sentiments between them. The tall and skinny person was called Li Nan, while the shorter person was called Li Chenggong.
Despite their stark difference in appearance, they were actually blood-related brothers.
Everyone who gathered here were all courageous people, they have all emptied their cups leaving not a single drop behind.
When everyone started drinking, their chatterboxes began to churn. Under Luo Lin’s mysterious guidance, these people began to refer to each other as brothers.
“Brother Lin, these two brothers are right up my alley. Why didn’t I meet you sooner.” Lin Jiadong chortled out loud. He wasn’t good at handling alcohol, so after drinking two cups, the alcohol rushed to his head.
Wang Liang, Liu Wanchuan, Li Nan, and Li Cheng acted as though they regret not meeting sooner. They lit each other’s cigarettes and bumped glasses. Luo Lin didn’t need to smooth things between them at all! They got along so well it was as though they were born from the same mother.
As they were quite young, these fellows didn’t have much vigilance and were more naive in nature. When they run into people who they click with, they would become friends easily.
If they did not agree with one another, then those people could scram. As they were hot-blooded youngsters of the same kind, they got along quickly with the assistance of Luo Lin’s relationship.
Luo Lin felt that the time was ripe and spoke: “Speaking of which… I’m already in my third year, and in less than a year, I’ll be leaving One High. At that time, you guys need to stay united.”
Everyone went silent after hearing those words. It was a very serious topic. High school life was very short. Now that everyone became acquainted with each other, the mention of that serious topic inadvertently made them quiet.
Luo Lin added: “Don’t worry so much, we’re all the same kind of people. Our friendship won’t end here.”
“What I want to say is since we’re doing this, we might as well make an achievement. Either study hard and get into a top university, or mix in the underworld and rise to the level of Qian Hu’s father, otherwise it would all be pointless”
Wang Liang’s blood began to boil after listening to those words: “That’s right! If we don’t get to the level of Qian Baiwan, then everything’s pointless!.”
Luo Lin shook his head smilingly: “That isn’t practical, as for how someone lives their life, it’s all up to them. I only wish for everyone to remember this. No matter what path you take, we’re the same type of people, we are dreamers. If you want to live, then live out a dazzling life.”
“These words are a little hard to swallow, but you should try your best to digest these words. Let me toast you guys.”
After saying that, Luo Lin chugged down the wine.
Lin Jiadong shot up from his seat: “Brother Lin is right, I will toast you!”
Before he finished, Wang Liang and the others followed:
“I will drink too!”
“Brother Lin, this is my respect for you!”
“Cheers!”
…
After leaving the restaurant, they retained each other’s contact information and headed home.
Wang Liang didn’t return to the hospital, he found an excuse to go home. After getting lectured, he then recuperated peacefully at home.
Lin Jiadong drank a little too much so Luo Lin slipped a thousand dollars to Li Nan and Li Chenggong, instructing them to find a place to rest.
The Li Brothers had never seen such a generous high school student, whether it’s blind worship or something else, they had an endless reverence for Luo Lin.
They replied immediately: “Yes yes yes.”
Everyone left except for Liu Wanchuan and Luo Lin.
“Brother Lin, I’ll be heading home now.”
“Don’t go home first, come with me.” Luo Lin got into a taxi, and Liu Wanchuan followed.
Today, Luo Lin had checked how much was in his card. Mother Luo transferred his allowance, and there was a total of $50,000. Together, Luo Lin and Liu Wanchuan headed to the illegal internet cafe.
The reason why Luo Lin brought Liu Wanchuan along was to familiarize him with the internet cafe. In the future, Luo Lin won’t have the time to care for it so he planned to hand it to Liu Wanchuan.
Little Chuan was eloquent, smart and also possessed a steady mindset. He’s a person equipped with the talents to operate a business.
When Liu Wanchuan found out Luo Lin had taken over the illegal internet cafe opposite the campus, he was so taken aback that he almost fractured his jaw.
Luo Lin remained calm like a retired underworld boss. He gave Liu Wanchuan a light pat on his shoulder: “I have paved the way for you, Liang Zi isn’t suitable to become the boss because he’s too honest. Little Chuan, I’ll entrust this to you, don’t let me down.”
Liu Wanchuan trembled at these words. He thought Luo Lin was going to die: “Brother, don’t do anything silly!!!”
Luo Lin laughed and smacked Liu Wanchuan’s head: “Stinky brat, what are you talking about?! I have more important things to tend to. Black and white, shadow and light, they can’t survive without each other. There’s no use telling you these now, you’ll naturally understand in the future. Just remember this, do it well!”
Liu Wanchuan blinked and nodded his head vigorously.
