Three months had passed after they first met, and when Yu Chu had first landed in this world. She informed the little mermaid gloomily as he was about to leave.
“I might not be able to come to sea for a period of time. There are some things I have to handle back in my kingdom. But don’t worry, after I’ve settled them, I will come back to visit you,” said Yu Chu to An Moer.
An Moer turned his head to glance at her. His dimples appeared along with a faint smile.
“Okay. Lai En, you have to promise me.”
She nodded. “This is a promise. After I’m done, I will come back with a present.”
The little mermaid inclined his head and watched her quietly, as though he were doing some serious contemplation.
Yu Chu touched her face. “Does my face…”
She was interrupted in mid-sentence.
An Moer suddenly pressed his lips and a faint smile flitted across his exquisite face. He appeared bashful as he pouted with his red lips.
He whispered, “Lai En, when we first met, I saved you and you said you would repay me. Is that still valid?”
Yu Chu nodded readily. “Of course!”
The young man curled his lips in delight. “I’ve thought of something. Give me a kiss.”
Yu Chu was taken aback as her mouth widened. “Huh?”
He looked like a child who was whining sweetly with his limpid eyes and eyelashes. He pouted once more. “Can’t you? Give me a kiss.”
Yu Chu was momentarily stunned.
The boy before her crinkled his sparkling eyes. She felt that he seemed different from usual…
The smile wasn’t exactly like a smile. It was exceedingly indolent.
However, he was clearly still himself. His icy blue eyes blinked and his expression was innocent and pure.
Ahem… She must be too sensitive.
Yu Chu couldn’t help but blush. She was brought up by Master, not to mention the fact that he had never asked her to kiss him before.
He had always appeared nonchalant and aloof ever since she was a baby. He had hardly hugged her too.
Yu Chu watched as the boy bit his lips, looking expectantly at her. She didn’t deliberate any longer and coughed instead. She reminded him, “Then won’t you be at a disadvantage? You saved my life and you only want a kiss from me?”
The little mermaid smiled and replied softly as usual, sounding like a kitten. “Yeah.”
Yu Chu’s expression revealed helplessness as she couldn’t change the mind of this willful kid. She raised her head and cupped his exquisite face before leaning forward.
She kissed him on his fair and smooth cheek.
It was really soft and smooth.
Her heart couldn’t help but jerk.
This kid was too adorable…
An Moer didn’t move an inch as he stood quietly on the spot. He bent his head and felt the girl’s hands on his face. He felt her warm breath on his cheek and the touch of her moist lips brushing against his cheek lightly…
His icy blue eyes billowed like a storm instantly. An uncontrollable rush of dark waves flooded his eyes.
He hadn’t moved at all.
“Alright.” The girl took a step back as her fingers left his cheeks. She raised her head to cast him a smile with a devious gleam in her eyes. “Does this mean that I’ve finished repaying you?”
The gorgeous young man bowed his head slightly to gaze at her. His eyes turned deep as he curled his good-looking lips.
Yu Chu was still savoring the wonderful sensation of the young man’s cheek when something cast a shadow over her eyes.
The gorgeous man leaned forward as he put his hand through the girl’s golden hair. He supported her head and used another hand to tip her chin upward lightly. His sharp nose brushed against hers lightly.
His lips, which resembled red flower petals, landed on hers.
