Chapter 5.1 – Yun Yi Gongzi
Unfortunately, her plan to watch the fight had also failed. She wanted to see it, but it depended on whether the people wanted to fight or not.
Suddenly the fight stopped, and then a man came running towards her side, as if… he had no inner strength?
Feng Lingxi raised her eyebrows in surprise. According to her estimation, there were dozens of people fighting. Now the fighting abruptly stopped, but only one person fled. So, dozens of people dealt with this one person. It seemed that this person had no inner strength.
And now this person was in a slightly difficult situation. Furthermore, there wasn’t any substantive injury on him. From where did this abnormal person come from?
Just as she wanted to see if the man had three heads and six arms, he ran straight towards the cliff and jumped down in the blink of an eye.
Feng Lingxi was slightly frowning. Though the man was moving fast, she saw that the man had a red flame mark on his mask.
It suddenly occurred to her that the Mad Old man had shown her such a symbol and grumbled that he owed someone a favor accidentally. So she would not make an enemy out of them and help if she could.
Since she had encountered such an opportunity, she had no reason to not help. A strange person with no internal strength had jumped down, after all.
Almost at the same time as the man jumped off the cliff, Feng Lingxi had also jumped down with him.
When the pursuers arrived, not even a single soul could be seen. They could only curse hatefully, “Damn that little poison! He’s gone again!”
The group’s face had turned blue from the poison. So, they didn’t dare to stay anymore. Although they had made all preparations, they still got infected and needed to detoxify the poison as soon as possible.
The person called “Small Poison” fell straight down. He thought that he was going to die. Just when he was about to hit the ground, his waist was held tightly and the falling speed slowed down. Then, he continued to drop down to the ground, albeit slowly now. He felt that his internal organs were about to shift. Fortunately, he didn’t get any internal injury, merely some bruises.
Looking up, he didn’t notice anything unusual, but clearly someone had saved him.
Returning to the cliff, Feng Lingxi gathered up the ice-jade silk. She clicked her tongue, “I didn’t expect that the first time I used it was to save people, not kill them.”
It was just a brief interlude. Feng Lingxi didn’t care who she saved, and soon forgot about it.
A hawk’s cry pierced the sky sharply. Feng Lingxi looked at the sky, only to see a big hawk coming straight at her, and it was upon her in an instant.
Though aggressive, the hawk stopped in time, and didn’t knock over Feng Lingxi. Rather, it hovered above her in a circular motion.
Feng Lingxi looked at it for a while, then stretched out her arm and the hawk cried, perching itself on it. It rubbed its head against her intimately. Feng Lingxi laughed and said, “Xiao Wuya, long time no see.”
The hawk’s eyes reflected it’s sadness. Feng Lingxi ignored its emotions and bonked on its head, sighing, “That guy even sent you out. It seems that he is forcing me to go back.”
As she spoke, she untied the letter from the mighty hawk’s leg called Xiao Wuya.
As expected, every word shed blood, and every sentence expressed worry. Only the last sentence expressed that person’s intention directly. ‘Get back quickly!’
Ta Xue was intelligent. When it heard the cries of the hawk, it didn’t wait for Feng Lingxi to call, and came back on its own.
Feng Lingxi swept the black hawk away, then looked at Ta Xue and patted its head, sighing, ” Let’s go. People can’t bear to see us free for long.”
